Medicare Supplement/Medigap

A Medicare Supplement, also known as Medigap, is health insurance sold by private insurance companies to fill the gaps in "Original Medicare" Parts A & B. The plans are standardized, meaning the coverage is the same no matter which insurance company you choose. Each plan is identified by a letter that indicates what it covers, making it easy to know exactly what you're getting.

With a Medicare Supplement plan, you can visit any doctor that accepts Medicare patients without needing referrals. I’m here to help you compare the different lettered plans and find the one that meets your healthcare and budget needs.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare and provide coverage for both Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical). These plans may charge different amounts for services and often include additional benefits like prescription drug (Part D) coverage.

Medicare Advantage plans are available as HMO, PPO, and PFFS plans, giving you flexibility in choosing how you receive care. However, it's important to know that doctors can choose whether or not to accept the plan, and plan details may change each year. I’m here to guide you through the options and make sure you find a plan that fits your unique needs.

Prescription Drug Plans

If you have Medicare Part A or are enrolled in Medicare Part B, you are eligible to join a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan. This can be a stand-alone plan that works alongside your existing Medicare coverage, or it can be bundled with a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan that includes hospital, medical, and prescription drug coverage.

Choosing the right prescription drug plan can feel overwhelming, but I’ll work with you to evaluate your options and ensure your medications are covered at the best possible rates. Whether you need stand-alone coverage or a plan that combines all your healthcare needs, I’m here to help every step of the way.
